Well the symptoms have returned and my mechanic has the bike with him
this is getting very frustrating!@
He's gonna try my old tps and test them and another one that has been tried and tested independent of the bike
He also is gonna check the leads and temperature and oxygen sensors as well as the fuel filter.
I have to say they are thorough and not expensive.
Bike missing at speed HELP

Interesting thing i learned today.
the new TPS isn't faulty, the old one was.
After the mechanic checked the bike's electricals and all the fuel system he disconnected the battery to purge the ecu of "adjust memory"
His reasoning was that even though they purged the error codes the computer still contains the memory of the oxygen sensor's and the opther sensoprs adjustments.
It takes up to a week depending on how much you ride in order for the bike to readjust to new sensors etc.
Since the memory retained the old tps's settings it was still using those and was sending the wrong signal to the efi system.
By disconnecting the battery and purging all memory from the ecu everything resets.
The bike then has to relearn all settings according to the inputs from the sensors.
btw did you guys know there is an altitude sensor?
So folks Reboot your bikes!!!!!!!!!!
When and if you change a faulty sensor disconnect the battery!
Lucky my mechanic is an honest bloke and didn't charge me a thing for taking apart the bike more or less.
As he said though "keep an eye on it and call me in a week if the bike is running well so I can sleep better"
We shall see...............
