Ah! That'll be the side-pod flying off when changing the visor and the retaining lugs snapping, by any chance? Only difference, my gaffer tape was silver.
Spot on. I lost the whole visor and remaining side-pod on the way in to work on Friday. Helmet is now the quietest its ever been.
