Thanks for all the comments; serious or otherwise.
The best time of the day was set by Dave Johnson who will be taking part in the BSB series this year. In fact, he left for the UK on the Wednesday after this meet, setting a 1:09 on a Yam 1000. I think he was cornering faster than my straight line speed.

In Brackets group one, the fastest time was 1.14, set on a Yam 1000. I was in pole position for Brackets two and behind me were a variety of bikes from Japan and Italy. I might end up on the bottom of group one in the next few meets, I've got a lot of work to do. Here is a link to the time sheets;

Carbon fibre = $$$, my budget is pennies
Colour? Sheesh
the tailpiece will be replaced entirely by something robbed and modified from a 600 or 1000 jap bike.
Currently the Y piece and slipon are custom built units by a local vendor.
If enough is enough and more is better than too much should be just about right.

Congratulations on the race results. Keep up the good work!

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
