Postby andy griff » Mon Nov 25, 2024 7:26 pm

Yes, BMW Motoradd are running an ad on Facebook today advertsing the return of the 12S @ 4pm November 28th . It's not April 1st so it looks genuine

Fair point! :D It will be interesting to see what turns up. As a RS owner I'm wondering what they'll do for the 1300. Essentials such as automatic gearbox, radar and maybe auto-lowering I suspect.

Cheers

From a video I saw the auto lower only works with telelever so unless that comes with a 1300 it won't be on the RS

Good point, thinking about it I'm sure you're right, no telelever no lowering, but the RS is a lot lower to start with!

What's the point spending on a new motorcycle ..... 50 mph BLANKET speed limit coming to Scotland, only way the government can address the deaths on the A9 since they can't afford to dual it.

I like the look of the retro air/oil cooled R12S, I'm sure it would be comfy for me, but won't replace my R1250RS for one. Nowhere to put the Mrs,
not sure they will sell many,

Currently the A9 is the only single carriageway in Scotland where over 7.5 tonnes can do up to 50mph, proposal is on all roads trucks will do 50mph and then illegal for anyone to overtake. Plus of course 50 mph max on emtpy roads. All Scots petrol heads must object in the online consultation.
