R11xxS Pannier lids

Post by slparry »

Recently chatting with John (SP250) about case lid sizes on the R11 panniers and mentioned the animated GIF that shows the size difference for city, touring and global lids

That's interesting, I've never knew the global lids existed.

Christ! the touring ones are wide but those Global lids would make the S look a real old lardy arse.

Cheers for that Steve

As I am moving the 11S into my tourer, I will change the lids from the city to the middle ones and even then they will be wider than the mirrors and impede the filtering somewhat. I didn't know global lids existed either.

I've always found when filtering that if the mirrors go through then the touring cases do as well.
