It’s time unfortunately. I’m just too creaky for it now and I’ve been hooning around on more comfortable machinery.

Engine, gearbox, FD oil and plugs changed 2000 miles ago. I did the valves at the same time.
Air filter changed 15 miles ago

All factory recalls done
New Michelin Pilot Road4 on the rear
Pilot road 3 with about 1000 miles left on the front
Standard exhaust fitted but comes with a Remus as well

Ilmberger carbon hugger (the best and £300 new)

Single seat hump. Rare and expensive if you can even find one. Passenger seat hump as well.
Kellerman tail tidy and LED indicators. Expensive, rare, and very lovely. Standard also with the bike. Small number plate fitted but will come with a standard for the MOT man
There’s a few engine bolts that have gone a bit rusty and the front of the engine casing is just starting to flake again. I painted it some years ago and to be frank, my paint job is holding up better than BMW’s.
As owners know, these are fabulous and I think I’ve done most of my miles blatting across Europe. It’s been great, and I genuinely don’t want to sell, but I just can’t ride it very far without pain these days so it has to go.
