Hello fron NSW
Hi folks. My return to the BMW fold is a 2004 R1100S, in Pacific Blue. My first BMW was a 1974 R90S money pit , back in the 80's. Then a variety of big shafties. After a 17 year break, I got a Honda VTR1000F and the SP-1 model. Next was a 30th Anniversary R1200GS which I didn't like so found the 1100 and love it. I think I will be keeping it for quite a while.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
