Loz of the Church of the Horizontally Opposed

Postby LozBoxa » Wed Jul 15, 2020 7:30 am

Greetings one and all,

New here and looking forward to meeting some of you this weekend on the Grampian run. Used to ride back in the 90s and noughties. Three weeks ago I got the itch I had to scratch and decided an R1100GS would be good for scratching... yeah, maybe not scratching then. But what a blumin’ bike! So nice to ride distance and A/B roads on.

I’ve been driving Flat 6 mid engines with one of your members for a while now and looking forward to sharing the flat twin experience.

Welcome aboard, and see you this evening in Embra

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

That may all change again, if the new Tiger 1200+ is any good... [smilie=whistle.gif] [smilie=bigwink.gif]

Yep. Welcome in Loz. You`ve acquired one of the better model gs`s imo . Wise purchase , depreciation completely mashed out of it , no need to get to precious with it.

Oh, by the way, well piloted to! (for a prop forward  )

Chris.
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Thanks Chris!

I do love a bold that has proved its worth and the 3000 miles Of my first 4 weeks have been sublime! I’m a big lad as you say, so I kinda need something chunky to potter about on. The GS is being kind to me. So I shall persevere with her.
