Not suggesting this practise is as common with bikes but golly looking at 1, 2, 3 year old dealer suv`s for sale the average mileage amazingly has dropped to less than 5k a year!!

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
From other motoring forums I have read that it could be barely the tip of the iceberg. This from experienced guys in the industry.
A lot of guys have bikes on pcp with mileage limits. So who knows?
Due diligence like getting a dealer to read the engine ecu and being savvy should help prevent buying a bad ‘un.

thankfully, "most" of our bikes come in from previous sales/current service customers so we're sure on mileages...… anything else is traded
