I've seen o rings listed as fitted to the pivot pin , I'll probably retro fit these next time I'm changing the oil.

Centre stand bushings
I noticed a few months ago that my centre stand was a quite loose on its pivots and not lifting the rear wheel as high as usual , so I sprayed plenty of penetrating oil on the retainers since then and recently stripped out the stand to reveal this on the L/h side... I guess I'll need to lubricate it more than once in the next 20 years! Since replacing the bush in a slightly oval frame recess I've seen o rings listed as fitted to the pivot pin , I'll probably retro fit these next time I'm changing the oil.
