Just brought home a bit of a dog 1100s, it’s needs some tlc and a new clutch but if it’s fixed I wondered if a day visit to your gathering would be in order as I only live just south of the border and Jed is on one of my ride outs over the border!
Cheers Stuart
Stuart , you are most welcome. The ride starts at 10am prompt from the large car park adjacent the A68 and Abbey. Fuel can be had from the Shell filling station about 3/4 of a mile further North on the A68.
Looking forward to meeting you.

Been waiting for the stars to aline and now planning to come on Saturday for the ride out and hopefully Carolyn will be with me too. Unsure if we are stopping over but if we are I'll forward our Sat night menu choices and hope they can accommodate another two. Looking forward to seeing you all again and enjoying the great roads in the borders

Hello Chris,
... dipping a toe back into things!
Assuming you're going clockwise as per image...
I'll meet you at the junction of the A68 & B6320 (West of Otterburn) some time after 10:00 am on Saturday.
(Had thought about staying in Jed, but bit by bit!)
Cheers,
Simon.

Chris - I’ll be in Jed around 6, check in at Allerton House then head ‘down town’ for some scran/footy/beer. See you at 9 in the meet-up bar. Thanks for organising the weather!
Arrived home at 8pm after a superb couple of days on the BCR. Thank you to Chris and Amanda for organising a great weekend, full write up with pic's to follow sometime this week
Cheers

wanna win the lottery and ride my bike
Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend on the bike and off it, firstly an own fault incident which happened to my good friend Ian, (which saddens me immensely) I can let you all know that he is coming home today with a mashed rib cage and his pride severely dented. He asks me to pass on heartfelt thanks to all those that stopped and showed concern, especially Blackal and Paul for the Bike Recovery service. In mitigation, no other party was involved and Ian should make a full recovery. Secondly it was very pleasant to meet up again with old friends and new and what a blinding surprise it was to find Simon marking the second corner in advance of the ride! I thought it was a ghostly apparition. Thanks to all of you for your enthusiasm and social manners. Top people. Chris

A big thanks to all for a great weekend and a speedy recovery to Ian, plus a special thank you to Amanda & Chris for all their efforts on sorting the ride & Chris's cooking skills on the barb.
i must also thank Simon for the panniers, they did stay on Simon, so the cable tie worked, plus duck tape as Steve would say for anything that rattles, i only held my breath for first 100 miles or so, but added to a top weekend,
thanks again Olwen & Bill, see you all soon.
