2003 R1100S non-ABS brake pads

Post by markstuk »

HI folks,

I need some help, as I'm not getting much clear information from suppliers sites..

I have a non-ABS 2003 R1100S (BMW logo on the calipers) - what front brake pads should I get for it? Links to suppliers/part numbers gratefully received ..

Regards

Is this the correct type?

It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.

BMW list the same part number for ABS and non-ABS models, which is 34117660448. eBay item number 232247887368 are genuine ones at about half price by the look of it.

Thanks guys - my understanding is that rotor sizes and calipers changed in the early 00's - going from Brembo to BMW branded calipers.. Mine are the BMW branded ones with the single pin across the top... I appear to have found the right ones and have ordered a set from MPS..

Cheers

My 2004 non-abs bike uses EBC FA335HH pads same as your link.

The early ABS ones are different my 2002 ABS pads don't fit my '04 bike..

Well that job took all of five minutes to do :-) Easiest four pads I've ever changed...
