The borders loop one, from experience Lockerbie to Langholm one of the worst roads I have driven on. The A7 though is a beaut. Useful guide

Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

I have a route planned round Dumfries and Galloway, an area I know well but have never biked around. Their route looks a bit too much on main roads. I believe there are better ones.
But I'll report back when I've done it next year. Although if it's as good as I think, I might keep quiet - don't want it getting too busy.
I agree about the A7 - brilliant.
I'll study the other routes for tour ideas. Thanks for posting it, Steve.

Indeed. 'And' one can download Ride Magazine routes direct from there as well. It's also possible to reverse or otherwise alter those routes too. Brilliant!milleplod wrote:Its a cracking tool, soooo much easier to use than BaseCamp/Tyre etc. Creating routes and loading them onto my Garmin is a piece of cake.f90x wrote:Nice. That MotoGoLoco site is great.
