Went for a ride this morning and bike now chokes up on wide open throttle in any gear, it will climb through the revs if at half throttle.
It happened whilst overtaking and now all the time get a check DWA message and a battery picture I. The display are the linked?

i had the same feeling last year on mine - i took out the plugs and one was completely a different colour where it had not been firing - replaced all the plugs even though i suspected a coil - problem solved
no lights came on though - could it be a reaction to not burning the fuel correctly?

DWA is indeed the alarm battery (or batteries) They are the small chubby batteries that used to be used in 35mm cameras (don't ask me the code sorry). The next thing is finding the alarm unit - Its usually buried in the tail piece between the rear light casing and the Mudguard so you have to dismantle the whole arse end of the bike to get to it. But a Herb said shouldn't affect running - Fuel filter blocked ? Inlet stubs split and leaking air? Air box full of Oil? So many questions I know but one or none of them might be the causeHerb wrote:DWA is the alarm battery I believe. I don't see how this could be linked to your poor running, but I'd sort that first seeing as it's an easy fix.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
thanks for the suggestions starting diagnosis nowThe Teutonic Tangerine wrote:DWA is indeed the alarm battery (or batteries) They are the small chubby batteries that used to be used in 35mm cameras (don't ask me the code sorry).
