"We therefore reject the wording used in the said published statements that do not correspond with the findings of the Race Direction. Yamaha has no wish to enter into further discussion regarding this unfortunate affair and our desire is to conclude the 2015 MotoGP season in the best possible way."

Dorna have pulled the plug on the Thursday press conference. According to MCN. Allegedly.
Team managers and riders have been" summoned" to attend a meeting with Dorna and FIM instead (probably behind closed doors)
Motogp gets interesting then they try to stifle it.
Can not see Brand Rossi attending if he is in denial of RD and FIM`s authority??
Rossi must be bigger than lin Jarvis, who has apparently mis- managed this situation. No wonder they do not want say anything.

I see Jorge has put his oar in again, he's applied to be part of the CAS hearing. but they threw his request out.
I think out of all of them he's coming out looking the worst. if he'd wound his neck in and been a gracious champion, or runner, up people would have accepted it. if he now wins he'll appear to have taken advantage, and if he loses he'll blame the lack of penalty rather than the fact that he didn't score enough points early on.

Absolutely agree. The silly arse has dug himself a hole. You get the feeling that Rossi's perennial popularity, clever mind games and apparent Teflon coating has always driven him mad. Now the daft bugger has cast himself as the pantomime villain again he'll no doubt help VR come out of all this in better shape than he would otherwise have done.roadburner wrote:I see Jorge has put his oar in again, he's applied to be part of the CAS hearing. but they threw his request out.

Agreed, but Jorge "generally" has been faster than his team" mate" all season, just had bad luck on race day.
Vr blew it on two counts for me, the wet race where MM won because he followed his box now instruction and VR did not and of course losing the plot completely in Sepang. A truly great champion can accept defeat, it appears he can not.
Outside influence from CAS (whatever that is) and rain may still keep his obsession of 10 championships alive.
No key player in this championship is looking smart.

No doubting Jorge is a stunning rider. A thing to behold. Smooth as silk. He's even pulled off some stunning passes. The problem, if you see it as a problem, is that we don't really see him "racing", like we do with Rossi and Marquez.
I have to say that I have a certain admiration for Jorge, not least for his audacity and outright bravery in his first year in moto GP. He's never going to be as popular as Rossi.
Marquez is a different kettle of fish. All action style, loves a fight (clearly!), and I can see him having having the same type of popularity as Rossi. Or I could. Till now.....
We'll just have to wait and see what Valencia brings. Hopefully what has happened (is still happening) won't sour the race. It's difficult to see how it can't affect it, but who knows.....

I think a lot of JL's unpopularity comes from his celebration antics in his first years in the premier class. Trying to emulate Rossi with his over-the-top theatricals and planting that bloody flag everywhere really used to piss me off and just made me think Tw*t!
Undoubtedly a stunning and gifted rider. Just needs to learn to keep his gob shut once in a while.
As for Valencia, maybe all the CRT and customer bike boys will all agree to move aside on the first lap to give Rossi a clear run to the front pack

My prediction is that Lorenzo's bike will suffer an electrical fault and he will drop out of the race!
The financial rewards for Yamaha of having their 'T shirt seller in chief' as 10 times world champion in his (possibly) final year in 2016 must be enormous.
If I am right the conspiracy theorists will have a field day.

After what's already gone down (:D) that's child's play.
