San Jose air filter

Post by winger »

When Jeff Williams came over christmas he very kindly brought two SJ air filters with him for me and Lloyd,i know Peter has had one for a time, but mines been on the garage table for several months, fitted it and finally got to give it a serious go yesterday spot on!!!!,the really nice thing is all the crap drops to the bottom instead of blocking the filter up like the standard or K+N.

Thanks Jeff

Chris,
Just keep your eye on the long allen bolts holding it all together they have a habit of undoing leaving the filter floating about in the airbox!!

I fitted mine to my last S the day before it got stolen :?
Nice piece of kit. Like Peter said, loctite the Allen bolts otherwise they will come undone.

BTW, I atuallly went to SJ BMW to pick mine up and met Chris the proprietor. Have you seen his latest S project on Pelican -a supercharged S with regular telescopic forks.

What's the point in that ?
Lloyd

It's not how fast you ride, it's how you ride fast.
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear
bright until you hear them speak.
