Went along the north side of the Gorge de Verdon yesterday, and found a loop road that took us to the very edge of the gorge.
Spotted a pair of Griffon Vultures, riding the thermals about 1000 mtrs above the river below.
Not sure what wingspan they were - but they were mahoosive, and you just know - that they take big shits!

Brilliant place, did that area about 3 years ago. That little road takes you right to the edge too... fab
We had a swim when we got to the lake. Loved it so much we went back round lol
