Thanks and thank you Merecat for the MFW link for the lowering kit.
I have just been on the MandP site and they are listed priced at £78.99.
The photo has more than one item (ie the block) in fact there are 6 pieces of kit!
Any comments?

I'm answering my own question now!!!
The multiple items (6) in the MFW lowering kit on the MandP site are for different bikes...the one for the R1100s is the stepped block.
Silly me!!!
MandP can supply with a 4 to 6week delivery time.
Think I might get one.

TBH the 1100S has never been a real problem height wise.
I am on tiptoes when the bikes straight up and you have to adapt your parking to avoid paddling backwards because its nigh on impossible with these short legs.
At traffic lights and junctions the bike is leant over slightly so I can get one foot firmly planted, but with the boxer carrying its weight low down, it feels stable

In a previous post I said I would get the seat reprofiled and then get the MFW lowering block. In actual fact i have done neither and we have our 14th anniversary in October

Thanks Mick,

I guess I will get used to it after a few rides!

Cheers,
