I came across this while I was doing some searching.
Who would have thought that the Maggot despatch hound was destined to become retro chic

Apart from the headlights, which look like something out of the mask (jim Carey), doesn't that look gorgeous from any angle.

Wrenchmonkees have done a nice job of one.

I have fond memories of my CX.

But then I am slightly strange.

Me too....wibble. :?

That Maggot does look smart, I must admit. Credit to the guy(s) doing the customisation, taking a very unlikely bike and turning it into something rather special. Always thought the CX motor sounded good too.

I've owned two of them over the years.
It was my first properly big bike in 1985.
I think anyone riding in the 80's will have fond memories of the maggot.
It was the back bone of the London courier industry for over a decade.
