What really annoys you.................................

Expensive gloves that the ******* lining pulls out of when you take your hand out.

Husband and wife matching gear

MCN writing a gushing report about the latest fantastic new model, which amazingly becomes tired and out of date 14 months later.

Or again MCN writing about the fantastic pair of £525 boots that lasted 2 years before leaking.

Bikes that melt when used in the wet/winter and look 10 years old after 2 years of use  Wouldn't be accepted in the car world, so why do we have to suffer, Grrrr.

Riders that pass you at 150mph on the straight (no grumble here if that's your thing), but then do feckin' 40 round every bend in front of you

Finding gloves to fit my mutant XXXXXL hands

Too many race track reviews, I want to know what the bike's like on shit UK roads please

Never enough drying rooms at whatever Hotel/B&B/campsite you end up at after riding in torrential rain all day..........

It's not all rubbish, you would be surprised how many components on an average car are from China and the quality is excellent. It's the cheap cloned garbage you have to watch for.

I feel a story coming on.....

Going back a few years I was working for one of the giant automotive suppliers. We had a run of failures and took a load of parts back to analyse. We got a surprise when we had more returns than were actually produced against that date code.

The parts had been excellently cloned and sold direct to the factory of a major OEM. Quite how that happened is another story, but the cloned parts were of excellent quality, though they had used a wrong type of plastic on a bushing causing the failure.

The parts were so impressive, we invested in the Chinese cloner and they became the centre of our operations in China. Chances are your car has one of their parts on it.

Seconded about the Chinese stuff. A lot of their products have become excellent value for money. Bike parts, tyres, whatever.

I'm old enough to remember the "Jap crap" motorcycle conversations of the sixties and seventies.

Yea, right.............

So called "advanced riders" who I see regularly around here, prancing around on their white Pans and RT's, head to toe in dayglo trying to like cops.
Silly old farts.

Not just vehicles.
I suspect if you look closely around your house you'll find loads of appliances that are made in China, from your kettle, toaster, to the computer you're using now.

I passed my advanced test in 2008, I'm quite old and a bit farty (and the missus would include silly). But I don't ride an RT or a Pan of any colour, nor do I dress head to toe in dayglo. I would like to be able to ride as well as the cops in our group; they are very skilled riders, but I don't pretend I can.

So, I'm not sue if I qualify for your ire or not?

My pet hate and rant for anyone who'll listen is the anti-biking legislation that the EU are currently working on, including anti-tamper regulations (currently limited to sub-47bhp bikes, but even that it bad), and the outrageous, expensive and unjustified super MoT, which is being lobbied for by the very people who will get the contract to oversee its implementation.

My 1 piece leather have a hump back, and I hate it but the leathers were on special offer of the pair for £99

Intercom ... on the K there's an autocom with hands free bluetooth for the phone ..oops

BMW club .... I refuse to comment ;)

Stupid coffee's ... agreed and the medium size in Costas is like a feckin' bucket .... paying £8 for two coffees is nuts!

Can't agree about grumpy old men, heck I'd offend 90% here :)

some of my grrr things are

1. people using their mobiles while driving
2. people texting while driving
3. lane hogs
4. Indian call centres
5. automatic answering systems "press 1 for sales, press 2 for support" etc
6. the EU and XL sizing system. Why can't a size of pants be shown in the actual centimetres or inches, the XL system in particular if very arbritary
