So the great ebay, not satisfied with making trillions, want even more.
They are now going to include postage costs in the final value fees, so if you sell an item for £20 and postage is £4 they will base their fees on £24
Nice work if you can get it! Even more profit for no extra work.
Oi! Wait for me!

Bad form all right, typical monopoly situation where they can get away with anything.

playing devils advocate here ... but people had been taking the p*ss sometimes by selling stuff for 1p then adding £20 postage to avoid the selling fees, so I know they're making tons but I can understand why they've done it

You appear to be making a fundemental error - Ebay is a business, not a service.

Sadly, as there's no viable competition, eBay have us in the way ^Meds^ describes it.

He who carries the biggest stick makes the rules. Only in this case there's only one bloke with a stick.

Business or not its just another way to squeeze more pips out of those who use their service.

If Ebay is making such huge profits - then the shareholders must be getting huge dividends? Except - they aren't. Dividends are probably on par with other multinationals.

Pharmaciutical profits? Same thing applies.

It is the duty of the company directors to maximise profits to provide dividends to investors and also to attract new/continued investment.

I've sold two bikes on Ebay - each one for around £20 cost. A bargain!

So - sink all your savings into Ebay shares............ can't go wrong!
