very early R1100S's had different caliper mounts

Mamola BoxerCup Replika's have the same forks as other R1100S's of their "age"

I seem to recall the RWB BCR's have the same as 1150GS's .... although I could be wrong :)

I think you're right Steve. I've seen Mamola BCRs with both silver and blue (as per RWB BCRs). so not sure if some are the higher GS forks and some aren't. Someone will be along shortly who knows

Thanks guys, thats really helpful.
I spent a while yesterday doing some research with real OEM and basically other pictures of the boxer cups and standard S.
From what I could make out its as you say, the Mamola shares the same forks as the later S, i.e. those with the BMW Badged brembo calipers. The later boxer cup RWB colours have different part numbers, so just as you say are a different colour/height matbe.
My forks are suffereing from the usual paint flakes as well as a sheared of mudguard bolt. I have the chance to get a set from a late R1100S in great condition at a good price, so will go for them and sort the originals at my leisure :D
