Pannier Rails

Post by Lpb »

I put my pannier rails on the 1100S tonight.

Am I correct in saying that the heat shield (the one on the bracket) does not fit with the pannier rails? I did try but it did seem it wouldnt fit.
The instructions are a little vague - just say 'remove and put to one side'

Thanks for any input,
Lloyd.

the heat shield comes off - I've got the installation manual - maybe we should scan these manuals and create a section for them?
