It was always a moment of fun when I had my old FXDXi Dyna - away from the lights it was actually quicker than most Jap sportsbikes up to 50mph or so. Really used to p*ss them off.
The Harley wasn't standard (obviously) but had such huge amounts of torque right at the low/mid rev range that from a standing start it was pretty damn quick. Motty - head tech at Thames Valley HD and all round top bloke - reckoned it was easily in excess of 100lb/ft. Sounded glorious too.
What can I say
Mine makes the R11 seem slow off the mark just open it up and go no worrying about getting the revs right just twist and go
Now mines 1680 stage 2 tuned and has lumpy cams fitted
Great fun corners are fun at a lower speed
Now if the DVLA would admit it existed i would be one happy bunny as i said before it exists on the DVLA vehicle check and went through hpi when I try to tax it it disappears
