Dai

Mine did the same last year.

Removed it, gave it a good shake, wired it in and it went peep (only not that loud)!
Replaced it and its been ok since - I think it misses the vibes :D

Try hot wiring the horn first, they do fail. If it has died, try a Stiebel. When I want a horn, I want one that lets them know there may be a problem. It was one of the first things I had to change on this bike!

Well i took off horn stupid little conector can't get multy meter pins into the ends removed horn connected it to a battery charger [mini crocodile clips on pins touch with charger leads dam thing worked connected it all back up again nothing, removed left switch gear, [stupid little hidden screw underneath] found my supply of spray lube had decided not to work all looks clean and good,
then i remembered the wireing is tight [very] so cut all cable ties all seems good cant find broken wire turned off radio connected it all back up heard slight click from right relay box removed lid checked relays by swapping, still no luck cant find any chaffed wire's, took lid off left relay box swapped all relays still no good, decided to run a wire from the right relay box from the horn relay direct to the horn, can i find the green wire with a grey chaser in that box can i hell,
earth from horn connetor is good cant check power to horn as i dont have six hands, tomorrow is another day i will start fresh but have been reading up and it sounds like a broken wire from one of the relay boxes,
For a parting shot i found lot's more stupid little pin connectors in both relay boxes [dam things]
Did i mention that it's been snowing again good news everyone it's stopped

Know you'll fix it Dai but while yor in there why not fit a pair of these? There's room for 'em where to OE horn is located. I've had a set on my bike for 12 months and when the tester tried them he nearly jumped out of his skin  , they're so loud. Cheap as chips as well.

I have a pair of them if i can find the green grey wire i will probably cut into it in the right relay box and run a new wire
it probably is a rubbed wire somewhere but first job tomorrow will be put the switch unit back together then clamp the button down then cut into the green grey wire just below the horn to see if it's just a crap conection there

Time to knock it on the head for today 6.5 ish volts at the horn right it has to be the wire fron the relay to the horn right?
Wrong 6.5ish volts from the relay! right swap all relays round again still 6.5ish volts at the relay head scratch time check voltage going in to relay 6.5ish! run lead from battery to relay 6.5ish at the horn 12ish out from relay kick dog, run new lead from relay to horn 6.5ish at horn start bike horn now works! kick dog again, stop bike no horn run lead from fuse no3 left fuse box to relay horn works kiss dog, realise i had fed the wireing from the left switches wrong side of fork leg easy fix, disconect in left pod rerout cable connect all up again, no horn no left indicators no high beam no hazards tracked this down to stupid little pin connectors in left relay pod, bl00dy hell it all works kiss dog again, now just have to tidy up all the wireing put relay pods back together and pray that it all works then,

The multi meter only showed one fault the red and white from the fuse box on left to pod on right side was showing some resistance not total but a bit,
of course this means i have now cut the leads to the horn and can't find my crimps i did however find my crimping plyers so will run out in the morning to get more and hopefully it will all work still

Think i kissed the dog too many times when i was trying to put the bottom on the right relay pod he tried to get intimate with my ear! so i kicked him again and gave up for the day

Did i mention my clock seems to be working as well now!
