Hi could anyone tell me if a pair of panniers off a 2001 R1150GS will fit the rails on my R1100S 2004...Cheers..

No ... GS ones are different, well the left ones are at least.

I always thought they will fit but the left one is shaped to fit over the exhaust therefore smaller

Not saying they will fit though Steve knows more about these things than i do

As per Steve's post, the lower mounting point on the left one is in a completely different place.

The city lids are slimmer than standard, making the panniers smaller but easier for filtering.

If you prefer the normal lids they're interchangable and a few would be happy to swap to city with you I'd think
