Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

Those wheels certainly "lift" the DKR colour-scheme. :)

Just needs a graphic on the front flanks to relieve the bulk.

Looks good, though :D

Rim tape

It's not rim tape i thought it was as well I was going to remove it :). It is apart of the powder coating. It looks like powder coated red first all the wheel and black second.

Yes it as a few extras. Some not seen. Will be uploading a few more pics after Christmas .

I have done all the graphics and the belly pan is back from the painters.
Centre stand is now off the bike, as most of you know with the Torque arm fitted the wheels are not off the floor and just a balancing trick.

Exhaust is Remus , Enrichment plug, cat removed from new have all the parts. Heads have been ported and gas flowed . I believe it as the cam sprockets changed but not checked yet.

It's brother was raced and this was his spare bike. It only done 5800 miles.

....Cylinder Head Protectors? Cheers Dai; saves the rest of us squinting. :) I remember, last Spring, when I bought my bike I knew nothing about the R1100s. I was just looking for a bike with shaft drive, one sided swing-arm and an under-seat exhaust. I looked at the '11s' and found it very pleasing to the eye. Only after several months ownership (and not being familier with a 'standard' bike) have I become aware that it had some non-original 'stuff' fitted. Lowered footrests and CF radiator intakes spring to mind and also, the handlebars seem to differ from some I've seen on ebay by having a short location lug instead of a threaded one. What any future owner will make of it's present state I can't imagine 'cos though it looks pretty 'standard', up to now I've added: 22 Litre tank, Odyssey battery, 5.5" back wheel, white-faced clocks, CF seat cowl, CF belly pan, front (disc lock) fender protectors, HID lights (both), uprated horns, 'Touring' luggage set, full Ventura luggage set, BMW tank bag, Large BMW holdall, the list goes on. Though I can't justify spending £1000-£2000 on upgrading my suspension, waiting in the wings are:- Crash bars, HID spots, 'City' lids, seat lowering kit, suspension lowering kit, coated exhaust and ( though I might just set my own sprockets up on a 'Bridgeport' and alter them myself) 'Lennies'. Hey- ho, it's only money.
