Since my Rospa training I have been very conscious of being certain I can see all of the surface I'm going to use for the overtake.

But on my way to Applecross in the spring I came face to face with a blue R1 mid overtake. I don't know where he came from - he was not there when I pulled out. There wasn't time to get worried before it was gone.

It was quite a sureal experience.
