The garage is the only place you'd want to take it, too!

Much as I love airheads - they're museum pieces, not bikes to ride.

Bikes are meant for riding, not looking at. If I had the cash it would be bought, ridden and enjoyed.

I had an airhead for 2 years. Never again. They're a good reminder of how far bikes have come in the last 30 years.

Great bikes made with quality materials and dead easy to maintain. If you want a bit of 30 year old nostalgia they are a very good option and usable too.

Valid perhaps - it's all down to personal experience I suppose. But museum piece? I really don't think so. It's how you ride 'em ain't it?

Must try and find that Youtube link of some bloke on a standard GS seriously embarrassing various R1/R6/Fireblades on the Island a few years ago.

Many years ago I was riding a K100RS and five ducks (police on motorcycle training) came pass me on the same bikes and there was
no way I could keep up,................ so I join the IAM
