Great bikes in a feel good video......very nice as the rain hits the glass. Trouble is, the airheads have become the Harley / Triumph for the less affluent keen on doing their thing for not much money. Hence the prices are on the rise......and i need one too....got a hankering for a cafe style ripper.
A mate has just picked up a 1976 R100 56K miles & we're off to Scotland on friday. Envious, cos' that'll be just about the best bike in the rain. Easy, forgiving bike, brilliant sound, fix 'em and run 'em forever.
Like the look of those in the video...
'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)

£1200
we're all thinking he got a bargain, lots of spares, MOTs, something daft like 10k miles in last twenty years
when I grow up, that bike is top of my list
(I'm only fifty)

I think you,re right, indeed it sounds a bargain......I,m seeing the cutting disc, mig welder.....mmmm
They are doing some nice work there taking a "classic" and making it suitable for work on the roads of today
Myself i have never understood the "classic" let's take it to a show on a trailer put a mirror under it brigade [it was made to be ridden bl00dy well ride it]
Same with some of the RAT bike lot i have seen a brand new GS1200 sprayed matt black and entered in the RAT & SURVIVAL show it had less than a thousand miles on it the owner didn't like it when i told him "thats not a rat bike you can't make a rat bike they evolve over years"
I would be proud to own any of the BM's on the Blitz website they all look like very usable transport
