Brake lines

Post by SAS Tom »

As the rear brake hose started to bulge I've put one that's too long on to keep going but I need a proper replacement. I want braided hoses but I also want the front to be slightly longer as I want to put the bars above the top yoke.

Who do people recommend for brake lines. Also as I want the hoses longer at the front, can I just ask for that? How much longer do they need to be too?

Just realised I've out this in the wrong place. Can someone move it please?

I have used HEL and the service is superb. Ring them give them the length you require eye - eye, and any details like colour etc. all the fittings are stainless steel. I received mine in two days and the price,s are very good. Basically its custom made to suit you.

What CornishFlat said. HEL are really good you can specify exactly what you want andthey will make to measure
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

Tom.. I will have some!!
At the mo, mine's got indiv. lines (Goodridge) from master - slave. The bloke who had it before added bar backs to comfort bars, so they should reach.
I've some hel lines (1 down, 1 over) from prev bike, which have been meaning to put on, so the front Goodridges should become availab.e

No back tho'

PM if interested.

Cheers,
Simon, now with a third
