This thread encouraged me to have a look at the spare bars that came with my bike.

My 99 bike has the comfort bars fitted above the yokes.

These spare ones are standard bars, pics for reference.

80mph on my speedo is equal to 125kph on my GPS

The relationship between speedo reading and true speed changes slightly depending on whether the rear tyre is new or worn.

Its not cheap but the best stuff never is.

Compared with the price of new machinery these days its good value and probably a bit of an investment if its kept in that condition and just used occasionally on a sunny sunday.

Called into my local dealer today to pick up some parts, whilst there I asked for price and availability of a rear indicator lens, I think the parts man was as surprised as me when he exclaimed that its no longer available. I think the lens fits many other older models as well as the 11S Has anyone ...

It wouldn't put me off buying it especially with that mileage and it was only an advisory.

I had arranged a trackday at Knockhill in June on my Harley even bought a van, alas it wasn't to be.

Its something I really want to do so I've postponed it for 12 months.
