Has anybody out there taken their headers off and removed the excess welding from within the exhaust. If so how did you do it and does it make a difference.

Cheers,
Andrew

Ok Ok .So i may be exaggerating slightly, more like 9.5bhp!
Ok i cant tell f**k all difference!

I did it too but only gained 8.75 bhp  It must make a difference though as a Boxercup entrant was disqualified for doing it.

Cheers Lads,

Can you now tell me were I could get this done. Will do it in the winter when I lay the bike up from the terrible Scottish winter. Poor GS will have to take the brunt of it.

Thanks for that Andy, if I did it there would be no exhaust left, and I havn't got a shed. Would a normal Welders/Fabricaters place be able to do it.

Any engineering metal workers be able to do it, or a tuning shop with port grinding gear.
