Vince, I was down in M & P in Swansea yesterday, they have a few Rukka Jackets and Trousers left with BIG discounts, might be worth giving them a buzz, they do mail order.
Just Google M & P.
Mind you, I recently went for Hein Gerickes offering, good quality and wont break the bank, their top of the range suit works out about £800 as opposed to Rukka's Version at about £1200.
I went for the one below the top range, still Goretex, removable winter lining and a good ventilation system which you can open up even if its raining.

Pop down to Smart Riders in Christchurch, speak to Chris (the owner), he's a really nice guy and he's always got some Rukka on his sale rail. Don't know if he has your sizes but worth a look.

Despite exchange rate, you are usually best off trying kit for size in a UK retailer, and then ordering from a German web site. Though on current form, a US web site maybe even better.
Price is usually same amount in Euros (eg £125 article for €125).

Ride Mag did one of their surveys on Twat suits and Rukka at £900 plus came out very badly.... mainly on the "tear" test...i.e if you go down the road the seams will shear.
Ride sad that if it was not for that categuory, the Rukka items would have done very well... but that particular test was so bad they could not rate it at all.
The Veiss (I think it was) got the best all round score.
Good luck in your search

Thanks Gents.
Just been a fgoggling on the HG site and quite fancied
HG TUAREG RALLYE GTX II
Or this
HG CRUISE GTX JKT
I'm liking the 1st one tho if it fits TBH. Although the lack of waterproof pockets is a bit disapointing. What's the point of the other 5 then :-k
Although I got £1250 for the 90,000 mile VFR I don't think it would go down well if I blew it all on riding gear (tho I'd like to be able to) I did buy a BKS suit 12 year ago, still fits and is the best I've ever had, so comfy but alas not waterproof so comes out on dry days only.
Might have a chap on the BMW club site who has a 6 month old pair of these for sale, he's going for the leather safety trousers.

Seamus, where are Smart Riders in Cristchurch?
I know the small shop which sells some used gear (I bought my Buffolo stuff new there, I forget the name) where you turn left at the lights (straight on is the golf club, left is the bridge, then town center)?

Smart Riders is opposite KFC on Barrack Road (the main road out of Christchuch towards Bournemouth). I get all my kit from him and his product knowledge is excellent. Tell him I sent you and to demand a discount!!!!
The second hand shop is in Purewell - not sure if its still there?

I spent some time in HG on Sunday (much to the distain of my wife and daughter, pay back for all those hrs I've stood about

)anyway, I was trying on all the jackets, kinda decided on the GTX however was slightly disapointed as I'd tried on a Rukka at Smarts and really liked it, price was rather offputting tho.
However....
I might be sorted for the jacket...
Fingers crossed and that it arrives and is as described but I may have just got myself an eBay bargain.
Rukka Allroad Jacket, new with tags. Retail priced at circa £600, "won" for a total of £132 including postage!
Not bad I reckon, specially as I sold my Remus from my VFR for £120 cash today.
As it happens I tried on a Rukka at Smart Riders shop and made sure the sizing was correct before I placed my bid on Ebay.
I'm all excited now
Just trousers to sort now hopefully

If you can wait till later in the year for the "annual" HG sale, bargains can be picked up.

Decided to splash out on the HG Master 5, just used it once for a run from Hull to london and backin a day, appears to be excellent quality, and fitts well, needed to up a size though, must be putting on weight ??, very impressed with armour as very unobstrusive, especially elbows and shoulders, only pssible down side, if it can be called that, is that with the upper arm vents open, jacket appeared to billow slightly, all in all very pleased. 2 year guarantee on zips etc, 5 year on gortex waterproofing.
didn't do too much for numb bum afeter 300 miles, gel seat needed.
