Is that an R? I thought they only did them in red?
There was a matching pair of 1098Rs in the
novice group at Cadwell last week! - What a waste!
Are they really that quick Winger?
I test-rode the new Fireblade today - too fast - too easily

…some people over here have this habit calling a Ducati a ‘Stucgati’…
…’stuc’ (normally we say : stuk) means : ‘kaput’, or broken, or break down…
…’gati’ (normally we say ‘gaat tie’) means : it will…
…nice bike though !...

Slagging Ducati off,is about as smart as saying Skoda's are crap, their fast alright,or you can bimble at 30mph without any hassle and yet have it in top and it's got shit loads of torque, people talk about the 916 being the 'bike' their wrong the 1098 is the one people will remember,i just want e'm to put me a motor in a new Multi
The R is a totally different bike,it's full 1200 for a start off,and the internals are a world away from the stocker, even the pipes don't fit, they do around the 180 mark at the back wheel on the dyno, all academic,i can't ride a 1098 properly never mind the R version.
The new blade is a piece of piss to ride, anyone could ride one,it requires zero imput, thats the beauty of Big H,some people like that,my VFR man loves e'm,even though i spend half my life waiting for him!!
