Hello all :D

I got a link to this site from UKGSER forum. 8)

The only BMW’s I’ve ever owned, have been GS’s (I’m on my 3rd R1200GS now)
And I’ve always had Jap sports bikes. The most recent being a 2006 ZX-10R. However, last spring I was watching the Le Mans 24 hr race and was fascinated by the Boxer that was racing and doing so well.

Then shortly after, I got word that BMW were going to release a road legal version. Then the next I now is I’ve gone and put down a deposit on one.

Now 10 months later, I traded in my ZX-10  and rode away on a shiny new HP2 Sport (number 88 and one of the first in country I believe).

Luck would have it that it was pouring with rain when I picked her up last Saturday. But I rode her home and washed her down immediately.

Image

So far I’ve only done 60 miles as it still hasn’t stopped raining in Bristol. But first impressions are great and I can wait to take her out and run her in hard (ooh er) .

Cheers

Brian

Hi Brian,

I saw an HP 2 at Vines of Guildford on Friday and it did look rather sexy. Bring it along to Wales and we'll all let you have a go on our bikes, if...

Do you want the black or the silver Boxertrix stickers for your new pride and joy?

Cheers,

Paul

Welcome to this site too :D

It is customary for new members to come along to the first organised weekend to allow other members to try out their new bike

I do hope you're not going to ignore this tradition :?

(bags me first shot  )

Yonkyo (that will soon get shortened to YoYo)... Welcome to the site... nice bike.

When you get bored with the colour.... Yellow and grey is the colour to go.

Enjoy

Nice try mate  . Of course I would let you all have a go. But unfortunately I can’t make it to the next meet, because I'm washing my hair that weekend (i wash it the same time every year, whether it needs it or not  ).

I know that white and carbon is a bit boring. But I do actually prefer the red and silver paint job on the boxer S

Hi Tim

My old ZRX12, oooh that brings back fond memories. I loved that bike 8) .

We probly have met at the Kwak centre as I used to practically live there (nothing better to do) though not so much now.

My mates name is Gerry - big tall fella, he now rides a KTM 990SM.
Yes he was gonna get an HP2S but the deal fell through due to a disagreement over the part ex deal. He's ordered the KTM RC8R now.

So you ride a beemer now as well then.

Hay, if you’re ever around Bristol on a Saturday lunchtime, I’m usually in Fowlers having a brew between 1230 – 2pm. :D

Cheers

Brian
