More torque down low. Wondered about this myself, if they work that is. If they do, I might be tempted too even though they are quite expensive.

Is that just a pair of larger diameter pre-injector manifolds???

Just fit RT bits - probably cheaper. ;)

I seem to remember a posting somewhere saying fitting the inlet tubes from a GS to another model (probably R) brought some benefits. I assume the tubes protrude into the airbox further and help smooth out the air intake just like any velocity stack.
whether it's the actual length of the tubes compare to standard (just like exhaust downpipe length impacts the power@revs) or the fact they protrude into the airbox I do not know.

I think that fitting a longer inlet stack is a midrange-at-the-expense-of-top-end modification. They seem expensive, because Motorworks will sell you GS stacks as the same 'performance mod' (for thirty quid!). The valve sizes/cam profile/stack length of the S are (i'd hope!) matched for top end power. That's not to say that a GS stack wouldn't work - that 6hp would get used a lot more after you moved it from 8000rpm to 4000rpm, even if it dropped to 4bhp along the way...

I'd much rather have more shove in the 3-5k range than higher up... but I'm more likely to get GS tubes than blow money on thi stuff.

Guys,
Fitting the GS tubes is a well known mod for the RT/RS models but they won't fit the S as the airbox design is completely different.
