Hello from Greece

Post by peter f »

Hi there,

Newbie to this forum. Crazy with bikes (BM's and some ...other Red things, he he). I'm on my way to do "some" mods in my R12S (middle range ponies etc etc) with the usual stuff on hand (full HPE + RapidBike3 + Iridium plugs + filter + ...). More in a while

Cheers, Peter

Welcome to the forum Peter. Have fun with the performance modifications.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

welcome!
What you doing in Athens?

I worked there in Greece 3 times for a total of 8 years (have me met even?). Go really carefully!
I dropped my CBX400/4 on the road to Sunion in 1987, got rammed on a K75S in Thess in 1990, and low sided another K75S due to over exhuberance on the mountain hairpins between Dionysos and nea Makri in 2000 - those marble chipping roads sure can be slippery -( but I'm sure you know that already :D )

In Athens?...erm planning to take on the wold in just 234,67 easy steps, what else?

I mean...I'm Architect (of some sort, heh..) on my way to move office in Paradiseland (UAE Dubai). Crazy with CAD and MCAD stuff and some related development on various relative domains.

Boy!...you know some pretty "nice" roads over here, I guess. That Dionysos<>Nea Makri stuff...puts bikes and bikers into some trouble(s), or what?

If I remember correctly we haven't met (but the world is that small, anyway).

Other than that...(R12S, that is) ...you know > "some" soft spot(s) for Ducatis (amore) > 998s and that coolest stuff ever (Paul Smart LE).

Riding for 32 years (mostly super sport stuff, preferably Italian Red). R12S appears to be the best real-life real-roads sports bike around. In some aspects : the last standing hero. Days of Rennsport (190/190) are galloping...God help us! he he
