Hallo everybody. i'm from Italy (Puglia, Gargano) and i bought my R1200S on August 2006. It's a fully equipped version :Ohlins, ABS, Two tone painting, Sport wheels, heated hand- grips, remote controlled anti- theft system. I have been riding since 1975, when I was 21 (Ducati 250 MkIII) then through 11 bikes (even a R65 1986-89) I'm here. I like street riding, and mid-range touring . I usually attend to some World-SBK races, such as Misano or Vallelunga. I like taking pictures during the races and iI do it with rather good results. My still not realized dream is to go to the Isle of Man during the TT week and have a ride in the "Mountain" :D

Hi Mate, welcome, I lusted after a Ducati 250 when I was 17, but ended up on a GT250 Suzi ( The dukes were a bit pricey over here), but I still remember reading the BIKE magazine test, the first time they recorded a genuine 100mph on a 250 and a single at that.

Good nostalgia trip, Grazie, Ciao.

Welcome to the site. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
