Has anybody got a eletcrical wiring diagram for our trusty steeds.
I am about to fit an immobilser and it would be handy to have a ready reference when it all goes pear-shaped. The excuse in the workshop manual is no good unless your building a bike from scratch and need to know which way to route your rats nest of wires
Capt Stempy told me he got one through the BMW dealer - it's on the parts list apparantly and the ref no. is on his site somewhere though I've yet to take a look and find it. Perhaps if it's cheap enough I could get one and pass it by the works photocopier and take some 'backups'
I tried the importer here in Cyprus but they just gave me a blank look and asked why I was playing about with the electrics when the bike is still under warranty.
If you can get hold of one I don't mind contributing
Derek - long shot I know, but would the wiring diagram from another R259 be any good? I'd imagine it'd be pretty similar - certainly on the ignition side of things etc. I could easily scan one from a manual for you if you fancied giving it a shot.

Just a thought.
I have a jpeg (I think) of the GS wiring diagram I could post on here.
Not sure about copyright issues though.

Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.
From memory I don't think it was all that much, about £20ish I think, perhaps Motorworks could supply one if your dealer won't. I got mine from Vines. Part no. is 01 99 7 650 012
