How do I know if i've got the ibs or the non ibs model?

Batman - go for these - they are the muttznuttz
Hold on the link hasn't worked - I'm trying to show you Red Barons...give me a minute
No - just checking again and the Nippy site is f4cked.
So anyway - look up r1100s and on the 4th tab you'll see the Red Baron.
Maybe it'll be working in the morning; if not bell them to discuss.

Ahh yes I'd seen them. Had to resist though as i've got insurance tax and MOT to pay for this week. They'll come along at some point though i'm sure

IBS means integral ABS, and you stated you did not have ABS, ergo non-IBS.

Thats what I thought initially but noticed this on the NN site
''Note - IBS is the system where a control-light in the dashboard indicates a defective bulb in the taillight - if your bike has ABS it does not always also have IBS !''
Ordered it now anyway so looking forward to some bling new lights!

That's because early bikes did not have iABS, but ABS2. ABS2 bikes do not have IBS.

Thanks for explaining Throttkemeister.
Must say Nippy Normans service seems good. Ordered late on Thu night, had a e-mail from them at 09:04 on Fri morning saying my item had been despatched!
Now its just got to get lost in the post for 3 weeks
