Er, inner tube sizes ... help!

Nothing to do with our lovely spoked alloys and tubeless tyres but I need advice on which inner tubes fit which tyre ...

I am sure it is simple but I have been confused and it must be stopped now! Been searching the web for a simple answer but guess I am looking the wrong place.

Say I have a 130/80-17 and a 100/90-19 ... which tubes do I need?

For the 19" I am offered:
300-19
325/350-19

For the 17" I am offered:
200/225-17
250/275-17
300/350-17
400/460-17, etc, etc.

Is there a conversion chart or a simple way to know which tube fits which tyre, etc.

Looking forward to the 'Lee, you are being daft reply ...'

Cheers, Lee.

100/90/19 you'd put a 325/350/19 and for the 130/80/17 you'd put a 400/460,there is a conversion chart and those in the know ignore it and go gut instinct.

Cheers Winger ... much appreciated.

How did I know it would be you to answer!

For those whose guts are without instinct (too much cider as a child) - I'll try and get a chart from somewhere.

Cheers.

Thanks mate - very good of you.

Tubes ordered - odd things these tyres with metric mixed with imperial and some ratios thrown in for good measure.

Cheers.

Winger has answered for you but on the rare  occasion that i'm stuck I've used the avon site under technical

http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle/ ... =tech_size

I've used here to tyre my Enfield and MZ (and all the sizes are listed too)
