I've got an 2002 (52 plate) Randy Mamola BCR, and it has heated grips, laser end cans, panniers & rails.

I've wanted one of these for a while and I sold my 748 (which I had for 6 years) last month and got this one.

Cheers, Nick

Well done Nick. Welcome to the fold.

Congratulations on choosing the fastest, best looking BCR ever. :D Just loose the panniers and rails  Oh..and don't drop it!!

Coincidently, I am currently trying to persuade a chap at work to sell me his 748. Go figure :?

Fear not, to go with the BCR, not instead of !

The panniers will only be on the bike for when I go to France in May. :D

Even more weird - the guy who bought my 748, had sold his 1100S last year and was then looking around for a 748 - he was amazed when I said I was buying a BCR.

You're right - IMHO the 'RM' BCR looks better than the later ones, mainly as I have a phobia about white wheels & I don't know why?

Cheers, Nick

Hello Nick,
I've had my 1100S for 8 years and having toured, commuted & just simply enjoyed "fun blasts" I cannot fault it, the combination of looks, feel and ability are simply special!
Late last year I sold my 03 748 with only 6000 miles on the clock, the novelty of great sound and looks were quickly lost on me and the mileage speaks for itself.
I hope you have a great time with you S & I'll be surprised if you're not quickly hooked!
Good luck, Mark

Hi Nick, welcome on board. I'm a newbie as well. Got my BCR 2 weeks ago and it's currently undergoing some minor mods (Laser collector and BMC filter).
Last bike was a K12S that crashed out at the Nurburgring leaving me nursing a busted back. But, Hey Ho alls's OK and looking forward to spring proper to start the season.

Good on yer boy.

Hi Horse,

I notice from your location that you are in Bishops Waltham - I grew up in BW [1970-78] & Swanmore [1978-88].
