Petition to scrap motorcycle road fund licence...

Post by Bender »

We're paying too much road fund licence compared with cars, which emit more pollution and cause more congestion and damage than bikes.

Like the idea, but IMO I don't think it will come to much, will add my sig anyway. I would have thought that going for a reduction in road tax for bikes would have been a better option.

Our lass only pays £35 per annum for a 1.5 turbo diesel clio, in comparison with my £64 for the R1100S and another £64 for the ZZR.

I'm guessing the emissions from the bike are considerably less than the car though, not to mention congestion, road wear etc...

I too would have thought that a reduction was more likely, but there was no option for that.

Unless we start out own petition...

Road tax, what is that? Not paid it since our bikes got their French plates.
