Short of getting the measuring calipers out is there any way of identifying the size of my rear wheel rim? I have a 180/55 tyre fitted but I am not sure whether the rim is a 5" or 5 1/2" and I am thinking of putting on a 170/60. Can you fit the 180/55 tyre to the 5" rim?

You can, but it won't do the profile much good,if you go to the Pelican site and look in the history you'll see War and Piece has been written about it.

If you have the small rim with the 180 the bike will handle like a pig on stilts, ask Bailey he's bin there done that. Not sure if the same applies to the 5" rim with 180 tyre.

Cheers Lads,
I have just found the measurement stamped on one of the spokes, it's a 5.5 looks like I'm stuck with 180s now.
