To Borrow please

Post by PBBoxer »

Hi
If possible (mainly Northern peeps), may I borrow a rear and front paddock stand for a 1200s? I have one of each but want to swap over some wheels between 2 1200s.
Will only need them a day or so, any help much appreciated

Paul,
I've got the rear and will soon have a front...hopefully within a couple of weeks.

I've always got the 1/2 ton engine hoist if your desparate.

Cheers
Rich.

Paul - I've got a front if you want to borrow it. You'll need to collect and drop it off though.

Drop us a Pm if you want it.

If you have a front and rear already... with a bit of northern nouse it would not be too difficult to remove and intelligently support forks and rear with owt lying around (missus included). I use me car jack and 4x1 on crank case base to get front off then prop fork bottoms with a pig block and said bits of 4x1. Come on  us northerners were the foundation of the Empire!! (But be carefull of other partys bike)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Thanks very much fellas

Looks like a good friend and new (used) 1200s owner who lives very locally will be helping me.

Thanks again
Happy New Year
