GS top yoke conversion?
I've just been looking through previous posts regarding raising the handlebars and there seems to be all manner of solutions varying from mounting the standard bars above the yoke, swapping to K1200rs bars or buying expensive aftermarket solutions. I just wondered if anybody had got the top yoke off a GS or a Rockster for that matter and then fitted motocross bars with raise of choice? Seems that it would be possible or am I missing something? Not considering it at the moment but if its possible I may start looking out for second hand parts from breakers after all top yokes aren't the first things top get damaged in 'an off'.
am making a seasonal visit to motorworks this week - will forage with this in mind. Mind you, the high bar conversion is a popular mod - I'd guess that Motorworks wouldn't have missed an obvious opportunity along the same lines as your idea. Do you want me to call in SofaWorld and see if a shakleton's high chair will fit in place of the OE seat too?
'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)
Could you pop into your local arms dealer and pick me up a couple of M60's http://www.metacafe.com/watch/52637/m60_machine_gun/ to mount on my handlebars so I can wipe out all those who try and turn right in front of me.
Cheers
Steve
