After 30+ years on bikes i've finally done it. Got a silver 04 R1100s last weekend, sport model 9000 mls.
Always fancied one but for one reason or another talked myself out of it.
Not had much chance to use it yet but you could say it's a bit 'different' to what i'm used to, let's hope i've made the right choice. :D

You have, believe it, I only took the plunge back in August, but Ive already done 7000 miles and It just gets better, like you been riding on and off for 30 odd years, still thought I was a few years away from a "Pipe and Slippers", but its anything but, anyway welcome Jas to the world of Boxer Bollox, hope you stick around, plenty of knowledge and friendly cyber faces here, and if you go on one of the trips like I already have you can put real friendly faces to them.
Have Fun
Tim

Hi Jas,

Welcome to the site and enjoy your new bike. It will feel different but your brain will quickly dial into it.

have fun.

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Welcome Jas. Good to see the number of Scots-based trixters swelling.
In hiatus from motorcycles.

Welcome Jas,

Not another Scottish owner, well we should have some good meet up's next year then if you fancy getting out and about.

When not join us to in April for a ride down to Wales, look on the days out section.
