I am utterly astounded that Nolan or any of their customers think that conducting a wirless phone call and riding a motorcycle are even remotely compatible activities.

We are all pretty vocal about car drivers conducting phone calls whilst driving!

Hi Harry Lim,

my wife and I have the Nolan N102 with the N-com and its brilliant.
the main reason why we bought it was to use it on tours round Spain and Germany this year...its very clear to talk until you get to 90mph...i also plug the ipod in which is great on long motorway stretches...
Battery life is good...we can do about 2 full days riding and talking until it need recharging..we are using wired connection between us, so i dont know who good / bad the bluetooth is.
i also like the fact that it does not need any wires to be plugged into the bike...
hope this helps.
thx Lars

I use one for the sat-nav (T.T Rider 2) and linking to my phone (sorry to "indignant of down South" ) a P990i and the bluetooth com system works as well as anyone could expect.

Having said that, I find it is a very noisy lid, and heavy but there again I live in it all day, most days. The Shoei 900 (dragon) is a far better fit, is quieter and doesn't make me look like a numperty (Box says!)

Now that the Rider 2 comes with a Scala bolt-on I use the Shoei more and it works as well as, if not a little better than the Nolan set up.

Each to his/her own but I don't think I'll go for a Nolan again - the Schuberth C2 now....mmmm!
