Has anybody fitted an aftermarket double bubble screen for their 1200s? I'm curious to know whether they do improve air flow at all or just redirect the blast onto their helmet more.

Where have you seen one?

Me too, just like Roloo, ordered with Puig.
Still waiting delivery,
...in fact still waiting shipment from Spain,
...in fact still waiting to be produced (?)

...don't know...
...the Puig one looks wider...
...it looks like the Wunderlich one only keeps the helmet out off the wind...
...the Puig one also a bit of the shoulders...

I would agree the Wunderlich item looks more like the shape you would expect - but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
One major question though. A pic I have seen of the Wunderlich item shows that it does not mount in the original part way and so should come with some heath-robinson adaptors no doubt.
Does the Puig item slot straight in or does it too have some adaptors to fit the BMW slots?

...we can tell you that after we've received the new screen...
...I've been waiting for months for a picture...
...and this is the only one I could find...

I got bored of waiting and ordered the sandbar one with the carbon fibre nose piece instead - looks the beeknees.
Proper double bubble too - the Puig one doesn't look much taller than the standard one really.
I also really like the fact that it has carbon fibre over the top of the light - should make it stronger, abd because the screen is screwed in it should be less prone to rattling.
It arrives later this week so will know more then.

Ron,
Do you think your screen will arrive on the 5th of December (Spain Sinterklaas)

In the meanwhile, while waiting on the Puig delivery, I also ordered the Wunderlich. Received an e-mail that it will be delivered wk50.
Now just wait and see if the Jerry's are more reliable then the Spanisch.
